Wolfgang Diernhofer, born in 1968, is Head of Department and completed a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, a study at University of Applied Life Sciences, Vienna and a MBA – Finance at the Danube University Krems/UBC in Vancouver.

Wolfgang Diernhofer joined KPC in 2002 and has more than 20 years of professional experience in the field of national and international climate policy and sustainable development finance. His experience lies in the field of sustainable project development and carbon market based project financing as well as international climate finance and international climate negotiations.

He serves the Green Climate Fund’s Global Panel on Accreditation as a Senior International Expert to the Board from 2014 onwards. Wolfgang is part of the Austrian Delegation to the COP where he supports the Ministry of Environment in the COP negotiations mainly on financing issues.

Christoph Prandtstetten, born in 1972, is Deputy Head of Department and completed a study in Environmental Technology and Water Resources at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna.

Christoph is employed with KPC since 2005 and has about 18 years of professional work experience. He is an expert for consulting in the context of the development cooperation as well as for environmental funding schemes. He is specialized in implementing and coordinating planning, consultancy and research projects in the water sector in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.

Martin Gauss, born in 1973, completed a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, University of Applied Life Sciences, Vienna and a MBA at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration/University of Minnesota.

Martin joined KPC in 2008 as Senior Consultant. He has about 15 years of professional experience in the field of environmental protection.

He provides technical assistance for government agencies in the field of water and sanitation, project management and coordination of national and international consultants. Cooperation and partnership building with other leading donors (Inter-American Development Bank, Unicef, World Bank, WHO, etc.).

Margareta McConnell, born in 1986, completed a Master's Degree in Advanced International Studies (Diplomatic Academy of Vienna) and a Bachelor's Degree in International Politics (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, United States).

Margareta joined KPC in 2011 as a Consultant in project management and business development. She is responsible for developing proposals and managing donor-funded consultancy projects in the fields of development finance and international cooperation. Additionally, she has practical experience providing in-depth analysis and strategic recommendations to a number of international stakeholders across a range of sectors.

Christian Oberleitner, born in 1971, graduated in energy- and environmental management and in sustainable energy systems, University of Applied Sciences, Pinkafeld.

Christian is employed with KPC since 2010 as a senior consultant for energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. He has about 10 years of professional work experiences in technical and conceptual consulting on the national and international level with focus on SEE. In addition he has expertise in energy-, environmental-, and quality management systems.

Norbert Peherstorfer, born in 1970, completed a study in Land Management and Infrastructure, University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna.

He has about 14 years of professional work experience in national and international engineering and consultancy projects, including conducting feasibility studies and energy audits in CEE countries.

Lara Salloum, Msc, BA, born in 1983

Masters in International Management at Henley Business School (University of Reading) and Bachelor degree in International Business, University of Brighton, UK

Lara Salloum joined as Business Development Manager the KPC team in 2016, and is responsible for project acquisition and management. Previously she has worked in Italy in the Energy / Power sector, developing and implementing on behalf of the Italian Transmission System Operator projects in the Mediterranean region. She has over 8 years of professional experience in international consulting projects and international development cooperation, as well as profound regional experience in North Africa and the Middle East.

Andrea Stockinger, born in 1968, completed a Master's degree in Environmental Management and a Master´s degree in Ecology at the University of Vienna.

Andrea has been working as Senior Consultant at KPC since 2008. She is responsible for the voluntary compensation program Climate Austria, the acquisition and management of carbon credits from Voluntary Market. She is specialized in the financial monitoring of national and international consulting projects and the project management. She has about 15 years work experience in the field of ecotoxicology and the renewable energy sector.

Rafal Stanek, born in 1965, completed Master's Degree in Systems Research from the "AGH University of Science and Technology" in Poland.

Rafal Stanek is an associated Consultant working with KPC on several donor-funded consultancy assignments. He is a recognized expert in policy development, decentralization and capital investment planning in the environmental sector in Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the Caucasus and Central Asia. He has many years of practical experience of supporting state and local authorities in multi-year investment planning, feasibility studies, fiscal decentralization, Medium Term Expenditure Frameworks (MTEF) and municipal services improvement. Rafal Stanek is also a qualified trainer, having planned and delivered a large number of trainings to public authorities in several projects funded by OECD, GIZ, EBRD, World Bank and USAID.

David Toft, born in 1968, has completed a Master's Degree in Policy Analysis and Urban Planning from the University of Minnesota.

David Toft is an associated Consultant working with KPC on several donor-funded consultancy assignments. He is a recognized expert in municipal services delivery for local governments and utilities in the environmental sector in Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the Caucasus and Central Asia. He has many years of practical experience in assisting local authorities and utilities in strategic planning, corporate development, financial management, benchmarking and restructuring. David Toft is also a qualified trainer, having planned and delivered a large number of trainings to municipal and utility staff in several projects funded by OECD, EBRD, World Bank and USAID.
