„The EU’s Sustainable Finance and FinTech Agenda: Breaking the silos“.

KPC has elaborated an expert paper for the German Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.

In the context of the advisory project “Climate-friendly design of the EU budget and financial markets”, which KPC is carrying out since mid 2018 for its client, the German Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Saftey, together with its partner Navigant – A Guidehouse Company, KPC has elaborated an expert paper titled “The EU’s Sustainable Finance and FinTech Agenda: Breaking the silos“. Based on an analysis of the EU’s Sustainable Finance and FinTech Action Plans, the paper aims at identifying synergies between the two subjects and devising recommendations for a future more integrated agenda in the two policy areas. The paper has also benefited from feed-back by experts of the European Commission (DG FISMA), the European Banking Federation and several representatives of European member stated during a discussion round in Brussels in November 2019.
